An adult bird grooms a juvenile Australasian Gannet chick to rid it of the fluffy white down.
The Cape Kidnappers Australasian Gannet colony is one of the best places to see the gannets who nest and raise their chicks on the ground near the edge of the cliffs. The journey out there is part of the fun.
