The rare californian condor was nearly extinct when large re-population programs in california and Arizona brought him back to quitea good population. In the San Diego wild animal park some breeding was accomplished in captivity.
The Wild Animal Park at the San Diego Zoo in California is an 1800 acre park which features 3500 species of animals including the Californian Condor.
