The dome of Florence is one of the most impressive buildings in this town. The dome itself is - naturally - worth a visit. You have to wait there in queues very long if you want to go to the top. Without waiting you can get on the top of the tower near to the dome - the Campanile.
The best is : you can see the dome from the upper outside! When climbing the campanile take a look down through the grid...
