Usually glass floats which have fallen off Pacific fishing vessels are washed up on the beach in Oregon. However these glass floats are pieces of art which are a part of the "Finders Keepers" event held in Lincoln City, Oregon each year.

Local glass blowing artists create the art pieces in the form of floats or starfish and distribute them along the beach for people to find.
