Japanese Culture Shuri Castle Japan

Steeped in Japanese culture and history, it is possible to see the Ryuku Dancers performing at the Shuri Castle in Okinawa, Japan.

Shuri Castle in Naha City was for centuries the palace of the Ryukyu Kingdom. Ryukyu dances were performed to welcome high ranking officials and today the traditional dances are still practiced and perform at special events.
