Shuri Castle UNESCO World Heritage Site Japan

A lavishly decorated building, the main hall which is also known as the Seiden once played host to many important state affairs at Shuri Castle in Okinawa, Japan.

Although destroyed during WWII Shuri castle has been restored to its former glory and is now a UNESCO world heritage site.
