St Andrews Cathedral Ruins Scotland

Besides a few walls, gates, towers, and foundations which remain partially intact, the Cathedral of St Andrews which was completed in 1318 AD, now lies in ruins.

Golfers may know St.Andrews as the city, where their sport was invented. But not only golfers come to St.Andrews these days. The heritage in this city, including the castle high above the sea and the ruins of the cathedral and cloister are also well worth a visit to this town.
